Basics of Verbal Aspect in Biblical Greek review round up (edited)

8 11 2008

verbal-aspectSo, a while ago, Jesse Hillman of Zondervan offer to send out copies of Constantine Cambell’s Basics of Verbal Aspect in Biblical Greek, Zondervan, 2008.  Several have begun to post their reviews!

See the Koinonia blog itself with a list of reveiws and a 5 part series review of its own.  Part I, Part II. Keep an eye out for more to come.

Mike Aubrey is the first specifically Greek expert to offer up a review.  So far he put up a Review: Part 1; Review: Part II .  The author Con Campbell, responds to Mike’s first review here!

Donald Kim of “LIfe’s a blur” has a Review.  He also has a discussion going here too.

As does Matthew Malcom – Verbal Aspect in Greek

Michael Hanel, a Classicist, over at the Bible Works Blog also has a two part review going.   Here is the Introduction and here is Part II.  Both of these are quite thorough and detailed.

ps, I’ll be adding the Bible Works blog to my blog roll.  I am a big Bible Works fan!

If you see or know of any more, let me know.

EDIT: I found that Phil Gons also has a reivew up as well.

There is one over at Idle Musings of a Bookseller too.

Watch for a forthcoming review too from Rod Decker, who also discusses another work of Campbell’s on Verbal Aspect in relation to narrative.  As does Andy Naselli who also notes the Basics of Verbal Aspect book.
