do you think it is better to attend a church with great ministry opportunity, but little true fellowship OR a church with great fellowship but not the same ministry opportunities. Granted fellowship and ministry are important. But do we go to church primarily to be built up or to serve ?
What say you?

I’m not sure how the ministry can be awesome and the fellowship not, but I think we should be ministering first.
Fellowship; without which we have no resources to do ministry.
We need both, and so we would need to supplement the element missing from the church elsewhere, in order to be effective as adhunt has alluded to.
Ah, I’ll start with the great fellowship and hopefully work towards the ministry opportunities. My take.
As I said on FB, we shouldn’t attend church for either but the later should be the norm. I agree with TC.
My won experience is that the second is a far better reason if any exists other than worshipping God.
my friend agrees with you all – once I learned what he was meaning, I was able to better advise him.
Fellowship first, then ministry comes naturally.
