No, but it sure helps to understand the biblical world to know what they meant by normal Christian living.
I would agree yet I think the point being made is we can learn from them but don’t necessarily have to do it exactly as they did. And this is all too often how people think to really experience Christianity as the first Christians did we have to do things just as they did and that can be a bit of a non sequitur…
